Music to My Ears (S45: Episode 4)

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? TWO QUITTERS IN ONE SEASON???? Why am I having bad flashbacks to Nicaragua... Let's jump into this week's highlights:

• A TRIBE SWAP!! Finally! Although I much prefer the two-tribe format, it's nice to see production bringing back the swap! What was crazy is that the the three remaining Lulu members each ended up on a different tribe: Kaleb stayed Lulu, Sean went to Reba and Emily swapped to Belo.

• Bruce got emotional once he landed on Lulu beach because he instantly recognized it as Tika beach from Season 44. Katurah still ain't buyin' any of his antics tho.

• Why was one of the highlight's in this week's episode watching Jake laugh att his lame joke about him being a good swimmer? So goofy. God bless these 90 minutes.

• Belo got the most interesting shake-up featuring two previous Reba members (Austin and Drew), two Belo members (Brando and Kendra) and Emily from Lulu. Austin and Drew waste no time trying to connect with Emily to form an alliance as they target her as the tribe's swing vote. I kinda dig this trio, it makes sense to me?

• This was a very emotional Immunity win as Lulu earns their FIRST ever Immunity (and Kaleb's first night ever in this game with flint). And Emily is safe for the first time, too all game:

• Congrats Lulu!

• As we head to tribal, it's seeming like the Reba girls are looking to take out Sifu, which is confusing because he really carried the tribe in the challenge. J (the singer-songwriter), is convinced he has some sort of idol or advantage.

• This plan of course all blows up when Sean decides (seemingly out of nowhere) AT tribal that his adventure is with his husband and he asks everyone to vote him out. AKA he quits the game. The most interesting part of this whole tribal was that Dee still voted for Sifu, which I'm sure willl cause some drama next week!

• He didn't earn a snuffed torch imo....

It was a meh week...

GOODBYEEEE SEAN....(but sorry for you league members with Sean on their tribes). Because he's a QUITTER, Sean earned all of his tribes a point category we seldom give (-10 for quitting). His -7 points for the week (he did earn +3 for his crocodile tears), made for some really low-scoring tribes this week, with Mel being this week's biggest loser, only earning her tribe 2 points. Thankfully, no one lost their sole this week! 😅

Overall, it was a pretty low-scoring week. Kaleb was this week's top earner thanks to his +5 for naming the episode.
