My Messy, Sweet Little Friend (S46: Episode 11)
This episode was a rollercoaster for me. I found myself not rooting for any of the people I was rooting for the week before, and more unsure of who I want to win than ever before. The immunity challenge was a blast to watch. We haven't seen a challenge that close and evenly matched in a while. It was truly anyone's game until the very end, with Maria ultimately securing the win in a nail-biting finish. Her decision to put Liz and Q through a rock-paper-scissors showdown for

Run the Red Light (S46: Episode 10)
I’M PISSED!!!!! I get it (to some extent). Being HANGRY like that out there must take an incredible toll on your mind, your body and your overall attitude. You’re not yourself, and it must be extremely difficult not being able to really eat the one and only consistent food source out there, coconut. But you knew this would be a challenge going into the game. You knew because of your allergies you would not be eating as much as the rest of the tribe. Which is why if it were me

Spicy Jeff (S46: Episode 9)
The episode kicks off with the return to camp and everyone is understandably flabbergasted and pissed at Q for what just transpired at Tribal Council. I was holding out hope for the possibility that we’d maybe find out that Q was doing this on purpose as a part of some unhinged yet masterful evil plan. But it turns out he literally was just offering to quit because he felt like he should “fall on his sword”??? I’m so not about this martyr BS he’s pulling and here at Vukelulu

Hide 'N Seek (S46: Episode 8)
Was it brilliant? Was it braindead? Was it confusing? Was it shocking? Seriously. ..WTF was that??? Whether he's going to try and spin it as some asinine 'strategy' on tonight's episode or admit that he was, in fact, trying to help his allies and create chaos at tribal, Q tried to quit the game. And this isn't the first time. He brought it up with Jelinsky on day one, and then alluded to wanting to quit on day 10 to Kenzie. It's been in the back of his mind since he hit the b

Several (S46: Episode 7)
It’s officially the merge! (“Episode Several” has to be the first time a post-merge episode has been named after a player who was voted out first in the game. Jelinsky has no idea how to play Survivor, but at least the guy figured out how to stay #relevant!) Within the first few seconds of this episode, we see some serious beef between Venus and Soda because Venus is convinced that Soda is the one who wrote her name down at tribal. This, of course, is not true, which Charli

Cancel Christmas (S46: Episode 6)
I gotta be honest here - I've been struggling writing these blog posts this season. I'm so checked out and so not feeling this cast/this Jeff/this season. I'm not a fan of this trend that's been happening for the past six seasons during the "mergatory" where more than half the cast is immune at a tribal council. I think it creates such a horrible imbalance, giving a random grouping of individuals too much power. I feel bad for Moriah , she was really starting to grow on me. A

Tiki Man (S46: Episode 5)
With Bhanu out of the picture, this felt like the first episode where we got a pretty well rounded look at all three tribes and their ongoing dynamics. Siga is salsa dancing, Hunter finds the Beware Advantage at the Nami camp, and over at Yanu , Kenzie is wondering “What are ya’ll talking about”. At the immunity challenge, Yanu narrowly beats out Siga , marking their FIRST immunity win since the start of the game and Siga’s first trip to tribal council. ( Yanu also fin

Don't Touch the Oven (S46: Episode 4)
Jem made those Siga players DIG for nothing! It was funny, it was villainous (especially with those giant ants), it felt oddly old school... and I loved it all! And then the plot thickened when Season 43's Karla confirmed that this exact hole was their "coconut grove" AKA Season 43's bathroom: ...And that's pretty much all I got...it was kinda downhill from there as it turned into quite an embarrassing episode for Bhanu . It's frustrating that someone like that got cast 46

Wackadoodles Win (S46: Episode 3)
....yikes!! A med-evac already!?!? Randen was by no means a fave of mine after episode one, but I got to admit he was really growing on me! It's a shame because I think he had a lot of game left in him; befriending Venus was a great move and would have been interesting to see how that relationship continued PLUS he had the Nami idol!! (I'm also just way less interested in seeing whatever Bhanu or Kenzie end up doing...) Now for the league… Randen was this week's highes

scorpio energY (S46: Episode 2)
WHAT'S UP, VUKELULU?! This week we had a surprise 2 hour episode, what a delight! Emotions were generally high and chaotic - from tears about hunger, losing challenges, and being on the outs, to players roasting each other and Jelinsky who was already voted off the island last week (Kinda felt like what the Tribemasters did when they saw people rank Jelinsky in their draft...SMH!) We had a pretty epic new Immunity Challenge with that giant arch puzzle (how often do we see th
