WHO'S READY FOR SEASON 2 OF OUR FANTASY LEAGUE!?!

Thanks for choosing to read this! It took Olivia and me a lot of time to figure this one out! We learned a lot from last season's fantasy league, some good and some that need improvement. So we're hoping these changes will shake things up, keep it fair, but most importantly, increase the drama for our fantasy league! Since we are all familiar with these iconic players, you will need to submit your draft picks BEFORE season 40 starts next Wednesday, February 12th!!

We decided that we also want to limit the number of times a single player can appear on multiple league member's tribes to 5. This will avoid what happened last season where pretty much everyone drafted Tommy, NO ONE drafted Dan (scum) ...and what we would imagine would happen this season and have everyone drafting Boston Rob.

So since we are in multiple states and cities and we can't have a group "tribal council" and meet in person, everyone must send me a power ranking of YOUR 20 Survivorcontestants NO LATER than Monday February 10th @8pm EST. (#1 being the player you'd want most on your tribe, #20 being the player you'd least want selected to be on your tribe). Once I receive everyone's picks, we will be conducting a snake draft. The order in which Survivors will be selected is based on YOUR last season's placement (last place "picks" first, first place "picks" last, then first place drafts their second tribe member). If new members are joining the league this season, they will pick first (as they would have scored 0 points last season). To remember our rankings:

11. Peter (370) [will draft 2nd, 23rd, 26th...]

10. Milky (370) [will draft 3rd, 22nd, 27th, ....]

9. Brian (403) [will draft 4th, 21st, 28th ....]

8. Jill (417) [will draft 5th, 20th, 29th, ....]

7. DMC (422) [will draft 6th, 19th, 30th,....]

6. Kath (451) [will draft 7th, 18th....]

5. Amanda (456) [will draft 8th, 17th....]

4. Bri (483) [will draft 9th, 16th....]

3. Liv (485) [will draft 10th, 15th....]

...This will keep going until everyone has 5 permanent tribe members and 1 alternate that will join your tribe post-merge if they're still in the game.

I will send you your tribe and then you will have until 8PM EST Wednesday February 12th (AKA before the premiere) to submit who on your team you'd like to pick as your sole survivor for Season 40. If I don't hear from you, I will default to the castaway you drafted first as your sole survivor.

POINTS THIS SEASON:

We will be following a similar structure to last season. Remember, you can earn points in way more ways than just winning challenges/immunity so really think about who you want on your tribe.

Score 3 points per castaway for each week they survive prior to the merge (you will not receive these points if your player is on Edge of Extinction)
Score 10 points per castaway for each week they survive post merge (you will not receive these points if your player is on Edge of Extinction)
Score 20 bonus points if any of your picks comes in 3rd place
Score 30 bonus points if any of your picks comes in 2nd place
Score 40 bonus points if any of your picks comes in 1st place
Score 75 bonus points if your Sole Survivor WINS!

Additional Weekly Points Categories: Earn additional weekly bonus points if any of your ‘Fantasy Tribe’ castaways do any of the following visibly on screen: (Limited to one line per castaway per week. For example, if your castaway cries multiple times in an episode, that’s still 3 points for that week but if two of your castaways cry, that’s 6 points! Posts cannot be earned during recap episodes, "Previously on...SURVIVORs" or “Next time on's” sneak previews.)

Wins a group Immunity Challenge
Wins a group Reward Challenge
Gets a game advantage (this includes finding a Fire Token)
Cries on camera
Has a wardrobe malfunction/shows nudity that is blurred on screen
Chooses to forfeit the game (we don't reward quitters!)

5 POINT CATEGORIES

Your player is gifted Fire Tokens from a player voted off
Cashes in their Fire Tokens for an advantage or a reward
Creates a fake immunity idol
Plays a Hidden Immunity Idol for themself correctly (0 points if the idol is not played correctly)

10 POINT CATEGORIES

Finds a Hidden Immunity idol
Plays a Hidden Immunity Idol for another player correctly (0 points if the idol is not played correctly)

15 POINT CATEGORIES

Wins an individual Immunity Challenge
Wins an individual Reward Challenge
Wins a fire-making challenge (excludes any won on Edge of Extinction)
Voted out while in possession of a hidden immunity idol or game advantage
Is forced to leave the game by no choice of their own (asides from being voted off, i.e medically evacuated)
