The Thorn in My Thumb (S45: Episode 7)

Episode 7 brought us our first official Individual Immunity Challenge along with our first (and hopefully only) double elimination of the season. The challenge was the Survivor classic “Get A Grip” (Anyone know how they get up onto the poles before the challenge starts btw? That’s some behind the scenes footage I wanna see). Dee and Kellie were the two immunity challenge winners with Dee using those extra long toes to hang on the longest and win reward for her team.

Let’s see what happened in the league!

We had a MASSIVE range of points this week with some peoples’ tribes earning as low as 20 points, while Tribemaster Brian’s tribe earned him 113 points!!! This is largely thanks to the highest earning castaways being Dee with 46 points and Kellie with 28 points. Special shoutout to Katrina who jumped from 29th place last week to 3rd place this week!

Laura, Grace, Sam, and Amy were sadly hit the hardest by the double elimination, and all lost TWO tribe members this week. Though Sifu wasn’t anyone’s Sole Survivor, his elimination means that Elissa, Cousin Lori, Mel, and Emma L., Amy, and Sam are down to only two remaining tribe members. Kaleb was the 4th most selected Sole Survivor meaning Laura, David, Bri, Amy, Paul, and Cristina have all officially lost their Sole Survivor picks.
