Epic Boss Girl Move (S47: Episode 2)

COME ON INNNNN!!!!!

We are officially all systems go for this season of the Vukelulu Fantasy League! Tribes have been finalized, points have been earned, and dare I say… beware advantages have been found!!!??

But before we get into league updates, let’s recap some highlights from Episode 2. 

• Though things are mostly chill over at Lavo beach thanks to their winning streak, the episode kicks off with a nail biter. Teeny is caught red handed showing Rome’s immunity idol box to Kishan after Rome trusted Teeny with the secret information and location of the box. EEEEK!    

• The Gato tribe is giving full focus to hyping up their “toxic clingy boyfriend” tribemate, Andy, as he cuts coconuts.

• Rome reveals himself as a (self proclaimed) rapper, NBA player, and On Fire with Jeff Probst podcast cohost.

• Andy finds the Gato beach beware advantage, decides to not take it, and then Sam finds it shortly after while with Anika. 

• Sam decides to tell Rachel and Sierra about the advantage which was proven to be wise because Anika was going to tell them regardless (which likely would have led to Sam being perceived as threatening and untrustworthy by Rachel and Sierra). I know it’s still so early on, but so far, Sam is showing some winner-worthy strategic savvy and social awareness.

• Tuku tribe is faced with their first visit to Tribal Council, and the cracks within Tuku are evident after TK’s mini lecture/meltdown when they lose the challenge. Gabe and Tiyana fully commit to flipping to Caroline and Sue, and Gabe plays his idol ensuring that even if they do go to rocks in a tie, he’s safe from elimination. All of this culminates in the vote out of TK, arguably the strongest physical threat of the game.

This shot of Rachel stuffing her pockets with rice was a body double reenactment! Two totally different shirts. 

NOW WHERE’S EVERYONE STAND AFTER OUR FIRST WEEK OF POINTS?!?!

Connor W. and Robbie are at the top of the leaderboard right outta the gate with 53 points each! This is the highest total points earned from a 2nd episode since Season 44, and is almost 3x the number of points earned by our lowest ranking members this week (Angela, Coach Juju, and Nonna Nina each with 18 points). Most everyone in the top ⅓ of the rankings had Sam on their tribe who brought in the highest amount of points this episode (24 points). And sadly with TK's boot, both Amy S. and Claire lost their Sole Survivor draft...sorry for you.....
