I Deserve All of This (S50: Episode 9)

I didn’t hate Jeff playing in the challenge!! I actually thought it was the good kind of fun/a little goofy. I do still eye-roll at them having to earn rice…that’s just not something I find all that fun or interesting. But hey, it worked out, and kudos to Joe, Jonathan, Ozzy, and Tiff for beating... Jeff (lol).

While I do think Christian has been hamming it up a bit too much this season, I was extremely disappointed in how his boot occurred. I’m fine with there being consequences for failing a Survivor journey challenge, but come on(!!!), Jimmy Fallon (if this was even your idea…). The fact that Christian not only had to vote for himself (bad enough), but then publicly tell everyone that’s how he had to vote? For a player who already had a pretty big target on his back, that basically made him a sitting duck. It was way too easy of a shot to take him out.

Honestly, I don’t know how many players left in the game would survive that same disadvantage. Maybe Rizo (and he’d have to play his idol), maybe Ozzy (same idol play), maybe Tiffany since she’s a bit of a floater/potential number, and maybe Jonathan since he’s not viewed as a huge threat.

Did I think Christian was winning this game? No. Did I think he still had a few more tribals left in him? Absolutely. He deserved NONE of this....

VUKELULU WEEK 9:

It was a relatively even point-scoring week. Joe was the one outlier, winning individual immunity and pushing himself into the top spot as the highest point scorer this season so far, with 136 points to date. We did get a rare Jeff-naming-the-episode, so no one picked up that coveted 5 points this week. That said, with Christian’s boot, the episode title is now up for grabs, as he named an impressive 4 out of the 9 episodes he appeared in this season!

We have a new leader of the pack, as Amanda S. jumps ahead of Rebecca to claim the top spot. While Amanda earned an impressive 67 points this week, it was Nonna Nina and Tom who led the way with 73.

While Christian was hands down a Vukelulu fan favorite, both in the draft and on the show, not as many league members had him as their Sole Survivor. Anthony M., Maggie, Seth, and Tori all said goodbye to their sole this week, but it was Seth who lost it all and has been demoted to a tribe of zero…sorry for you.
