Inconceivable (S50: Episode 12)

Even with running the league (and of course wanting to win lol), I ultimately want a good season with a good winner. And for an (allegedly) landmark season like 50, I so badly wanted another iconic win. I wanted to feel the same way I felt seeing Sandra take her crown on Heroes vs. Villains and Tony reign victorious in Winners at War.

Hands in the Fans? I am simply devastated.
Not that I needed a Cirie win (or Devens, for that matter), but I really wanted to see a player who paid homage to the series and referenced the reasons they’re on this season. I also wanted to see someone having fun while bringing this next-level social strategy. And now we’re left with someone who would be fun to see win (I just don’t ever see it happening), one of my least favorite characters in the entire franchise, someone who betrayed their number ones back-to-back in a cowardly way, and two goats. I’m just so disappointed. And seeing both Devens and Cirie go out back-to-back was a tough one.

And for me, the biggest bummer is Rizo, who I’ve been rooting for more or less all season. He aligned himself with legends and I had faith that he’d know the right time to let either of them go in a way that wouldn’t make them bitter on the way out. Now I’m left feeling bitter with how he cut both of them, and I’m not even playing the game!!!
Anyways, I was pretty meh on Rick being asked to play again, but he really did surprise me. I loved the fake idol play at tribal with Christian, I loved a lot of the antics, and I loved the emotional components. He really did bring the fun to this game. And what else is there to say about Cirie? She’s a legend. It was great seeing her play. She’s definitely one of the best of all time!
Now onto our finale bonus...

There are five players left in the game:
Aubry, Joe, Jonathan, Rizo, and Tiffany.
Some league members need a miracle in order to stay in the game, some may just want to play it safe.... Do you have what it takes to be Survivor Vukelulu Season 50's Champ? YOU GOTTA DIG DEEP because your Tribemasters are giving you one final bonus...
Below are three potential options to scoring your Finale Bonus. You may only select one option. Your bonus wager must be submitted to survivorvukelulu@gmail.com by Wednesday, May 20th 7:59:59 PM EST. If you do not submit an emailed prediction or choose not to play the Finale Bonus, you will earn the points you would have earned with no penalties. Late email predictions, however, will not be considered.
OPTION #1: Make a prediction who you think is going to win it all and become the winner of Season 50! If you guess correctly, you will earn a bonus +15 points. (You do not need to choose your Sole Survivor if you think someone else is going to win).
OPTION #2: HOWEVER, if you want to double down on your Sole Survivor draft pick, and your Sole Survivor ends up winning, you will earn a bonus +30 points (on TOP of your guaranteed +60 points for any of your picks coming in 1st place AND the +75 points if your Sole Survivor wins).
OPTION #3: OR do you want to risk it ALL? In order to play this option, you will need to risk all of your standard points during the final episode. If you are able to correctly guess the boot order of the final 5: Jury Member #10, Jury Member #11, 3rd Place, 2nd Place, Winner, you will earn a bonus +250 points!
Your email must clearly indicate who you think will be Jury Member #10, Jury Member #11, 3rd Place, 2nd Place, Winner (in that order).
NOTE: If even one player is not in the correct boot order, you will lose all points for Episode 13 and earn 0 points for the entire episode. (Don't have any contestants left on your tribe? This option is for you! What's there to lose!?)
VUKELULU HEADING INTO THE FINALE...
A monumental episode as Joe becomes our first player all season to break 200 points (so far) this season. Tiffany is second biggest earner sitting just under 200 with 198 points.

With both Rick and Cirie's boots a bunch of our league members are down to a tribe of zero. Sorry for you: Bradley, DMC, Laura, Mason, Rachael, and Tribemaster Liv. On the other side, Peach is headed into the finale with all four of her original tribe members (she's only lost her merge bonus pick Angelina). That's some crazy cast assement she did pre-season! Following Peach: our league leader Amanda S., and recently-entering-the-top-10 Sasha both have three castaways left on their tribes.

This is one of our lowest heading-into-the finale Sole Survivor numbers our leage has had! Only 9 league members have their soles still left in the game. And if Jonathan or Rizo win, no one in our league will be cashing in on the Sole Survivor bonus.
Aubry: Amanda S., Anthony E., Peach, and Rebecca
Joe: Nonna Nina, Reid, and Tom
Jonathan: ----
Rizo: ----
Tiffany: Sasha, and Mirette
If you have any questions regarding the finale bonus, please feel free to reach out. Good luck to all!
