One Glorious and Perfect Episode (S47: Episode 1)

Vukelulu Tribe!!! We’ve got SIXTY SIX members in the league this season! That means our league grew by 50% from last season, and we officially have our LARGEST tribe in Vukelulu history! To our big group of newbies - WELCOME! And to our squad of loyal returning members, THANK YOU for hanging with us for another season. Whether you're a newbie, a vet, a friend, a frenemy, a founding member, a stranger, a superfan, or just along for the ride, we’re stoked you’re here. 

Our Season 46 league winner (Sari) and our two Sia Award winners (Amy and Phillipe), all earned the opportunity to select their seed placement within the draft for Season 47. Phillipe selected the number 1 spot. Amy selected 38. Sari selected spot 32. All other league members were entered into a randomized generator to determine their draft placement. Based on the size of the league and the number of castaways, each castaway could be drafted onto a MAXIMUM of 20 peoples’ tribes. Below you can see how many times each castaway was drafted in each round, and in which round (if any) they hit the max of 20. 

HOW SEASON 47 CONTESTANTS WERE DRAFTED

No player was fully drafted in the first round which means everyone at least got their first round draft pick!

Our most popular pick was Teeny who was drafted 13 times in the first round and was the only castaway to be fully drafted by the end of Round Two! Teeny had a great initial edit that showed their social skills, likeability among tribemates, and overall control of the Lavo beach. 39.4% of the league listed Teeny in one of their top 3 spots. Sue and Rachelwere the next most popular picks across the board.

That being said, this was the most diverse array of rankings we’ve ever received! Only 6 castaways were fully drafted by the end of Round Four. 11 out of 17 castaways were drafted at least 3 times in Round One, and Caroline and Rome were the only castaways who were not drafted at all in the first round.  

To little surprise, our least popular picks this season overall were Andy and Rome, who both had first episodes that highlighted their ~chaotic~ sides. 48.5% of the league listed Andy as their last round draft pick

And lastly, despite our warnings to NOT write the name of the castaway who was already voted out of the game on your draft submissions, we had multiple offenders this season. Jon’s name was submitted thrice and drafted once. We.. um… yeah. Sorry for you, Nolan!

IMPORTANT: Below are your tribes. Of the 5 contestants listed as your tribe, please send us your SOLE SURVIVOR pick and your MERGE BONUS pick. 

• Your Sole Survivor pick is the player you think will win the entire game. (THIS ONE’S FOR ALLLL THE MARBLESSSS!)

• Your Merge Bonus pick is a member of your tribe that will only become an active point-earner for your tribe if they are still in the game post-merge. They will not collect any points for you until they’ve officially made it to the merge. If they are voted out pre-merge, that’s that. (Note: Making it to “Mergatory” does not count as making it to the merge).
