Our Pickle on Blast (S47: Episode 7)

I don't really have much to say this week...it's been a weird one. Honestly, it was all downhill since Game 5 of the World Series. And Jeffy P. did not give me much this week (EIGHT people out of twelve were immune?????)

I don't have much else to say about this episode except cool for Sol! Maybe he now has a bit more agency in this game and can find some allies. Also, is Andy is giving winner's edit? Am I alone in this sentiment??

Anyways...as we look to tonight's episode, we want to invite you to the first ever....

As you can see below, we have TEN different advantages (and disadvantages) available for auction this season. Some will remain hidden, while others (Auction Item numbers 4 and 7) are visible. Each item will be bid on through email chains initiated by survivorvukelulu@gmail.com. To place a bid, simply reply all to the email thread of the item you're interested in, including your bid amount. If you are outbid by someone else, you may continue to submit higher bids until the item’s bidding closes. If you are determined the winner of the item, the Tribemasters will collect your money.

How much money do I have to spend at this auction?

Great question! The amount of money you have for this season's auction is based on double the points you earned in Episode 7.

For example:

• If you earned 20 points this week, you have $40 to spend.

• If you earned 38 points this week, you have $76 to spend.

  
  

So, the more points you earned in this week’s episode, the more money you have to bid and a better chance at winning auction items.

Pooling Money with Allies: If you're in an alliance, you may pool your money with other league members. When submitting your bid, you must specify where the funds are coming from (i.e., which members are contributing). However, no matter how many people pool their money together, only one advantage will be awarded to the highest bidder (or bidding team). The player who submits the bid on behalf of the pooled money will be the one who receives the auction item. How they choose to play it is up to them.

Starting Bid: The starting bid for each item will be $50.

Merge Bonus picks have officially joined your tribes! Becuase of this, it was a relatively high-scoring points week. Players now receive +10 points every episode they survive, so here's where things really get fun!

Kyle was this week's highest-earner, thanks to his indiviual immunity win (+15 points), and even on her boot episode, Tiyana still scored a sizable 11 points for her tribes by naming the episode (Our Pickle on Blast), crying, and her vote being shown at tribal council.

Six league members lost their sole this week: Anna, Anthony M., Emmy, Gabe, Maggie, and Sari. And sadly, Carolyn is now down to only one player on her tribe. Sorry for you....

Amelia played her Steal A Tribe advantage that she had found earlier this season and played it on Phillippe. So Amelia earned Phillippe's 67 points ($134 at the auction) and Phillippe earned Amelia's 40 points ($80 at the auction).

Although Phillippe was not the highest earner this week, her strategy behind picking Phillippe was rather clever! (Although we think she forgot that merge bonus picks were coming into effect this episode...some tribes had 5 players!):
