The Get To Know You Game (S48: Episode 1)

Vukelulu Tribe!!! We’ve got a record breaking SEVENTY members in the league this season which makes this our LARGEST tribe in Vukelulu history! To our big group of newbies - WELCOME!

And to our squad of loyal returning members and our OGs, THANK YOU for hanging with us for another season. We’re stoked you’re all here. 

Our Season 47 league winner (Tyler) and our two Sia Award winners (Connor W. and Ryan), all earned the opportunity to select their seed placement within the draft for Season 48. Tyler selected the 12th spot. Connor W. selected 28th. Ryan selected the last spot, 70th. All other league members were entered into a randomized generator to determine their draft placement. Based on the size of the league and the number of castaways, each castaway could be drafted onto a MAXIMUM of 21 peoples’ tribes. Below you can see how many times each castaway was drafted in each round, and in which round (if any) they hit the max of 21. 

HOW SEASON 48 CONTESTANTS WERE DRAFTED

Our most popular pick was Joe who was the only castaway to be fully drafted by the end of the opening round! In fact, he was fully drafted about three quarters of the way into the first round. 21 people out of the first 54 wanted Joe as their first pick!

Eva, Shauhin, and Thomas were the next most popular picks, and in addition to Joe, were the only players fully drafted by the end of the third round. Across the board, Vukelulu is showing a clear favor towards the Lagi tribe!

That being said, this was an otherwise diverse array of rankings! It took until the final round for half of the castaways to be fully drafted, and Bianca and Sai were the only castaways who were not drafted at all in the first round.  

Our least popular pick this season was Sai who was the only castaway to not be fully drafted all 21 times, and it wasn’t until the third round of the draft pick that she was selected onto anyone’s tribe at all. Trailing behind Sai as the other least in demand player was David who had only been drafted 8 times up until the fifth and final round when he made it onto an additional 13 tribes.

And lastly, despite our warnings to NOT write the name of the castaway who was already voted out of the game during episode 1 on your draft submissions, we had multiple offenders this season. Stephanie’s name was submitted thrice by Carolyn, Nolan, and Tiffany, but thankfully no one drafted her onto their tribe! It will be a celebratory day in Vukelulu History

IMPORTANT: Below are your tribes. Of the 5 contestants listed as your tribe, please submit your SOLE SURVIVOR pick and your MERGE BONUS pick. 

• Your Sole Survivor pick is the player you think will win the entire game. (THIS ONE’S FOR ALLLL THE MARBLESSSS!)

• Your Merge Bonus pick is an alternate member of your tribe that will only become an active point-earner for your tribe if they are still in the game post-merge. They will not collect any points for you until they’ve officially made it to the merge. If they are voted out pre-merge, that’s that. (Note: Making it to “Mergatory” does not count as making it to the merge).  

• *** If for any reason you would like your Sole Survivor and Merge Bonus alternate to be the same player, you are welcome to do so.***

You must submit your Sole Survivor and Merge Bonus before WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5th 8PM ET. If you do not, we will default pick your first drafted contestant as your sole and your last drafted player as your Merge Bonus alternate. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR SELECTIONS AT THE LINK HERE.
